John is founder of GMS Ltd and has over 40 years of uninterrupted global operational, commercial and consultancy experience. He currently spends the majority of his time as a client project manager and trainer in the renewable energy and water utility construction sectors and offers tailored executive project management and commercial training services. 

The GMS core project focus is on effective and efficient management using the best available workflow management techniques. He also develops and implements project management structures to ensure the most efficient and effective methods of operation.

John is also the technical author of the CIOB code of practice for project management for the build environment 6th edition published in July 2022
