The Assessment of Professional Competence, commonly known as the APC, is the principal assessment route to becoming a Chartered Member of RICS and using the designation MRICS.
The APC confirms that a candidate has achieved the technical competence, professional practice skills, interpersonal abilities, business understanding and management capability expected of a chartered surveyor.
