Having looked at extensions of time for Relevant Events, we now move on to look at how the Contractor may claim for loss and expense for Relevant Matters.
Loss and expense occurs in a number of ways and is not limited to events which delay completion. It is important to understand that “disruption” costs, which occur when progress is affected but not to the point of delaying completion, are also claimable.
