An Overview of Quality Management under NEC4 ECS

An Overview of Quality Management under NEC4 ECS

Level Advanced
Duration 30 minutes

Clause 4 of the NEC 4 ECS relates to quality control and defects.  It sets out how quality management processes should be created and updated, along with options for inspecting, testing and searching the subcontract works for Defects.

As with many of the clauses in any NEC4 form, it relies heavily on the Parties setting out their requirements in the Subcontract Scope. Care should be taken to get this right as any changes later may lead to compensation events.
