As was described in the previous course, the NEC forms of contract adopt a different style of language and grammar than most contracts you will see. This includes using the present tense for all clauses and creating more than one type of defined term.
This course will look at the different types of defined terms, some of the key terms that you will need to understand and the general clauses that underpin the Subcontract. These may all be found in Clause 1 (though in typical NEC style, Clause 1 includes Clauses 10.1 to 19.1).
