Exceptional Events and Insurance under FIDIC Red Book

This course covers Clauses 18 and 19 of the Red Book. These deal with:
- Exceptional Events (akin to force majeure); and
- Insurance requirements.
Other than to understand what types of insurance are required, it is to be hoped that users will not need to utilise these clauses in real world situations, as they deal with the types of events that we hope will not happen.
