An important part of any construction project is the instructions that may be issued by the Employer’s side. They are used to control the Works, instruct changes and maintain progress.
However it is important to understand the permissible types of instructions, who may issue them and whether the Contractor must comply with them. Sometimes an instruction can cause more problems than it solves.
