We now move into the main body of the JCT 2024 and the Contractor’s obligations.  This module will look at the most basic of the obligations on the Contractor’s, those to do with workmanship and materials.


In later modules, we will move on to design and other areas.

After completing this module, you should:

• Understand the obligations on the Contractor in relation to workmanship
• Be able to explain how these differ from the obligations in regard to materials and goods
• Know who owns materials and good and when title transfers
