This series of webinars provides a structured and practical introduction to the Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement, Fourth Edition (CESMM4). Across six parts, the series covers everything from the basic principles and rules of measurement to the detailed classification of work items. Each session is focused on specific work classes and aims to build participants’ understanding of how to accurately interpret and apply CESMM4 in the preparation of Bills of Quantities.

The six sessions are as follows:
Part 1: Overview of CESMM4 and the Measurement Rules?
The aim of this course is to provide an overview of the CESMM and an outline of the measurement rules.
After studying this course, you should be able to:

Part 2: The Bill of Quantities and Work Classes A-D
The aim of this course is to understand the purpose of the Bill of Quantities and how it is prepared and to understand how works are measured under classifications A to D.

- Identify the purpose of a Bill of Quantities and the importance of its accuracy
