The JCT Standard Building Contract (SBC) is one of the most widely used forms of contract in the UK construction industry. It sets out the legal framework within which construction projects are procured, managed, and delivered, but its structure and terminology can often feel complex to those new to it.
This programme of webinars provides a structured, step-by-step introduction to the JCT SBC 2016, breaking down its key provisions into accessible modules. Designed for professionals working in construction, project management, or contract administration, the programme will help you understand not only what the contract says, but also how it works in practice.
Across twelve webinars, starting with an overview of the JCT suite and moving through communication, subcontracting, quality, time, insurance, payments, claims, and dispute resolution, you will build the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate the contract effectively.
